aciclovir

Aciclovir is soooooooooooo expensive as you will well know Rose,The doc told me that my course was £ 500  Hope you feel better soon sweetie.

AJ Adele

Yes its expensive but its a bit cheaper than £500 these days, but still about £200. I figure I do enough for NHS, bout time I had some of it back , but it does work.
Last blast for 2009!

Ian we have spent a fortune on gigs over the years and if its some-one we really want to see will pay whatever for the tickets. But dont do it so much now as there is always the bunch of drunks, idiots who go out of their way to spoil it for every-one else. But dont think I can resort to Matt Monro

Gloves (again)
Asprin
Sterile wipes and dressings (nasty cut on my right heel)
Charger for my iPhone, cos I cant be arsed taking laptop
and Paint, which has nowt to do with snowboarding but I need to decorate a bedroom for my daughter who comes to visit next weekend, gonna make a zoo theme I think.

Dont do a zoo theme go for mountains, snow etc theme. Get her interested early
Only having one week away this year not to much to say. But can say the entire Lapland experience was the best I have ever known. From the quality of slopes, snow, extra activities.......pure heaven.

MOST MEMORABLE.
Was actually not on the slopes but snow-mobiling across the fells and frozen lakes, stopping at a campfire and having lunch.

MOST SCARY MOMENT
Attempting the infamous Battery Run in Ruka, was determined to do it, but halfway down realising it was way out of my depth, far too steep, and no other way down. So stepped out of bindings and sat on snow board and boarded down on my behind.

BIGGEST ACHIEVMENT

Attempting the famous Battery Run for a second time only this time on ski's as opposed to board, did it, fairly slow and a bit shaky but did it. Looking forward to hitting it next year with a bit more finesse and speed.

Not feeling brilliant at the moment, absolutely exhausted. Had to admit defeat yesterday and stop work so I will be able to take anti-histamine now, it does not matter how drowsy I get. Also have a course of aciclovir so should speed up recovery. Doctor said they have had between 50-60 cases of CP this week alone.
