I have just booked ADH on 30th March fingers crossed will be good, never "sprung skied" there before, hoping will still be able to ski in and out of hotel. My plan was anything over 1800 should be a safe bet, however, if not then its only a lift or gondola ride up anyway TP |

Hi Icy
I have the same problem, as I have Shrek like feet. When I bought my boots ( Salomon CS )the guy in the shop realised that I had wide feet so we spent hours blowing out the shell to accomodate my "shrekies" The problem that I have is that when I do my boots up first thing in the morning withinn the first two hours I get the same pain as you so I then have to start loosening the boots off. When we stop for the first coffee/ beer around 11 ish I have to undo the boots, loosen them off and rest them for a bit, once on again I am OK for an hour or so and then have to loosen again. In the afternoon I never have an issue??? I put it down to two things.... the swelling of the feet and not really knowing how to do the boots up correctly. Currently I just live with it, any advice will be greatly received. If it helps the shop was Two Seasons in peterborough and I think the guy's name was Pete but not entirely sure. TP |

Rear wheel drive and snow is one of the best combo's for an andrenaline rush, if you want to play -) Sometimes it can be as good as blasting down an icy red or black run not knowing where the patches of ice are :) Big rush :) Love RWD in the snow :) |

I returned from my France trip last night and caught up with this thread, breathalysers were bought, so felt very legal from a perspective of french law, however, I am now distraught to find that the hi viz jackets have to be in the car with you ( logical ), mine were lobbed in the boot underneath 3 suitcases ( illogical), which means I actually was illegal. Oh well, never got pulled over anyway ( now thinking that should have saved money on the breathalysers -) -) TP |
