Thanks Tony, I think I am more excited about trying the new skis than actually going away!
Interestingly the Sweet daddys are very light in weight, normally the rentals are quite heavy, this I assume will be easier jumping over bumps etc |

I have Atomic sweet daddy's 2006 version although I brought them new this year, skiing ability very adept, can ski anything anywhere, although don't find moguls fun:-) weight 14st 8 heoght 6 511.5

Thanks guys that fills me with confidence, I wasn't sure if the characteristic of a "freeride ski" dramatically different. When you read reviews on ski some people say that you do not get the same feel on piste but off piste will have loads more fun??

I have always rented skis but have now got my own all mountain ski's of which I haven't tried yet.
My concern is how different will they be to the normal rental "superior" skis that I am used to? Will I have to ski differently ie "work them harder" or will it be much the same? TP |
