Chris, I assume you're skiing in Austria this year? If you know where, why don't you e-mail the ski school - they will have the definitive answer.

Cheap Flights With Ryanair

[MaccA wrote:]The problem is, its £10 each way including taxes until you want to take luggage. Then its something like £10 each way for a bag, then another £15-20 each way for ski stuff.

Its still cheaper than Easyjet but by only £20-30 which I don't think is enough to convince me to travel with Ryanair.

I've never had a bad experience with Ryanair. Its not the scrum many would have you beleive and for the money I'd say you couldn't really go wrong.

You make a fair point though Ise, its only a low-level recommendation and I for one wouldn't be in a hurry to go to Les Gets. Obviously some folk love it...

The reasons you'd pick somewhere to work for a season are a bit different to ones you'd use to pick a holiday destination. It's why, for example, someone might choose to go to London to find work rather than an uninhabited island in the South Pacific.

Yeah,I see that and you're right.

In this instance, Will (the guy I referred to) liked it as a holiday resort and has chosen to work the season there too. Could well be in a minority though. It remains to be seen how he rates his working experience to a weeks break, when work (of any kind) wasn't a factor...

Just in case you were suggesting my friend was making this up, he wasnt, its true. I am sure there are people who might make up stories on t'internet though. The buggers.

I was suggesting the recommendation of someone I don't know isn't worth a lot. Obviously someone might like something but it's meaningless without context, for example people I don't know must be buying James Blunt records but he's still rubbish, in the context that it's his mum and tone deaf people I'm better able to judge it as a recommendation.

I was merely trying to be helpful towards Brucie, who, it seems, had become disenchanted with this forum very early doors. Goodness knows what he's thinking now.

BTW, we are, for once, in total agreement on something - James Blunt is absolute rubbish. )
