Just bought a pair of these 2nd hand & they look brilliant!
Anyone know how to adjust the bindings (Device 310) or should I just take them to the skishop again

Cheers,
Lee

New girlfriend (now fiance) demanded that I go chucking myself down mountains & drinking plum brandy.
Absolutely loved it & recently went to Andorra & did my first black run.

Its a bit like waterskiing only with a more vertical element

I've got a Sony Sony CyberShot W170 (compact) point n shoot with the Carl Zeiss lens.
Absolutely fantastic! excellent quality pics, very good in "ISO" mode for nighttime shots and a very good video function.

If you're after a camera to stick in your pocket but all-singing all-dancing I'd recommend it.

Rossignol Actys 100 Cheap

Hi folks,

found some cheap skis 'Rossignol Actys 100' with Axium 100 bindings for £88 - allegedly brand new.

Are these any good for a beginner / intermediate? I've done a few black slopes but happier on Blue / Red (on piste only - none of that scary off-piste exploring lark :-)

Sounds a bit too good to be true, anyone come across these before?

Thanks,
Lee

>>EDIT! this might be a question for Hardware?

its about 2-3 inches of finest slush in High Wycombe as of 13:42.
Still total traffic chaos though :)

My main gripe is the buses that ferry you to the El Tarter gondolas. At 9.15 in the morning, the queue's are 30 deep and more. You wait for 20 - 30 minutes for a bus.

I might try the Nordic next time, as this backs on to the ski slopes and the gondola.

Didn't see any of the world famous Andorran boiled eggs though. My mate reckons they are best ever. I think they must time the 3 minutes much better than we do.

When were you out there Del?
Christian the rep was indeed a top fella - very helpful & a good laugh.
I had the boiled eggs - erm.. nothing special

Was the Nordic the one in Soldeu then? cos I saw a few people skiing down the slope, straight over the bridge & into the back of the hotel - thats cool!

Yeah agree about the buses, there was a bit of a queue most mornings but it was usually bareable.
snapped ski! comments...

Well, they were a really competitive price and we are in a recession after all

Ahh sorry, was being a bit thick there - Bandit was talking about the 5 year old skis.

I was thinking that SPAM was sort sort of cure for repairing skies :-)

I guess there's not any skis to avoid if you're a fatty like me, just try not to get over any big holes?
