My names Rose and I am not going to Val Cenis. I have one summer trip planned and one longer than usual trip for winter planned. Have booked one week at Ruka with car hire to hopefully take in all surrounding resorts then travel on to Levi for one week and travel to all surrounding resorts and hopefully into Sweden. Like Tony we are already looking at maps, pistemaps and excursions. And its not planned until January :(

These symptoms are perfectly normal, I suspect we are all like that. God I am even getting giddy over my summer holiday and thats not until June. I have even been internet shopping for sun hats, sandals etc to-day.

Another British con, I passing that way a few years ago so popped in to have look, A: they wanted to charge me and B; I could not get within 20 yards of the thing.....so I left it to the hippies :shock:

Spent the first 20 years of my life one mile from Stonehenge. The only time I ever went was to the famous Stonehenge Rock festival in 1976, the year of the heatwave. Absolutely great lasted 2 weeks. Great bands, no-one wore any clothes, those were the days.

We could manage these as a joint effort

That I would love to see my Mum on ski's :lol: She will be fine when she had her hips replaced she was back on her bike within six weeks and back hiking over hills in 8 weeks. She's not bad for 78years old
