Wearing a helmet protects your head, no doubt about it. You cant argue that, if people (adults) dont want to wear one , then fare enough. If your head hits a tree or a hard surface you are going to get hurt....end of. Whats more important in your body, your leg, your arm or your brain ?? eh??

on no ..not again

I'll agree with all you say Ally but La Thuille does have a wonderful friendly atmosphere and you can afford to buy lunch or a coffee on the slopes ...also you do have the option of skiing Courmayuer for a couple of days and going to Pila for the day...and La ros is ..boring,,I would have gone to La Thuille but they sold out on Sunday so off to Brides Le Baine next week...let you know

I am really amazed with that you said. I think these "teenagers" will take some time to heal injuries acquired from skiing, if ever. Isn't it dangerous for them to still ski despite the fact that they attended skiing classes? If I am to ask if I will allow my granny who is 71 years old, I would certainly refuse him to go. Any thoughts?

why should they get injuries from skiing...its not really a dangerous sport and you must be very young to have such preconceptions of fitness as you get older

I'm sorry you're bored, daved ....
You could always join in the discussion about wearing a helmet whilst skiing to help pass the time.

If you had read this thread and many of the myriad others there have been on the same subject you might have found that I have read a them and have contributed and had I been skiing at the same time I might have caused more accidents by not paying attention to what i was doing
