The hatchet man will be after you, great photos, but you might want to make them a tad smaller 8)

To me it seems to be the effect of the French Mega resorts, with ski in-out accom and giant corporations running several resorts with the same blandness.

I tend to keep away from those resorts 8)

In the summer it is very cosmopolitan but don't expect any English people to be about , Great place 8)

It is really up to individual taste I managed last year to get my lot to Livigno for the second week of our summer holidays, this year we have a week in the south of France and then by popular demand my lot have insisted its Livigno again for week two even though it will be an eight hour drive so they must have enjoyed it.
I guess maybe for you search the flights first and see what deals you can get and take it from there

But that makes it quite interesting for me 8)

Zinal is already connected to Grimentz by piste in 1 direction. It's a black run mind you, through stunning scenery :D

I do agree about the advantages of having your own transport if you want to visit St Luc/Chandolin and Vercorin, and there is a good ski bus between Grimentz and Zinal.

Thanks Rose :D

I wish I had some video of a Poma ride from hell. The spring was too strong, and I shot up in the air and bounced 2x on the ground, at the start, before heading up the track. At the 1st bend I went round the dog leg in mid air, and I'm convinced that there was no weight on my skis for most of the journey.

Little kids have all my empathy on using drag lifts, I've never experienced anything quite like that before.

I have only just picked up your photos, stunning and a match for ise
