Thats a shame cause that must be such a good location and could be a really fantastic business
Pablo Escobar wrote:Or Scotland. I like Tbars and buttons and things, they stop folks wanting to ski the slopes you do. At the top of Lake Louise there is a pretty difficult button lift to put folks off going up there because the only routes down aren't very straight forward. More fresh tracks and less folk to pick up skis for.

I'm never gonna ski there too unreliable snow

I get the impression Tony of it being off the tourist route, only really here about it in October when hosts the opening FIS races of the season... 8)

Tony_H wrote:Errr.....I dont know. She hasnt seen them yet, and wont get to try them out until next season now. She did say she didnt think it was necessary to get them, but I want her to be able to do more all mountain skiing (which is what we end up doing with her on her pistey skis anyway) so I got them anyway. I hope she doesnt leave me tonight...!!!

I went for the standard mounting position in the end.
The bindings are Marker's and pretty decent, bearing in mind what I paid for the package. The skis look very funky. I hope they do what they are supposed to...

Whats all mountain? Why did you go for the standard mounting position and what other positions are there for the binding?

I know its ya better half they are for but funky, will she ski better? (sorry takin urine on that question)

Im not takin the urine on this 1 but dont you have to try the skis? Im buying some but whats the point on spending good money on the hope you are lucky? Or are they simular to her last skis?

You can set the bindings further back in the ski for better floatation 8)

Yes, agreed, tows/poma's/drag lifts/buttons/T-bar's are all rather an acquired taste

But it is all part of skiing, in a way the slow tows, drags Buttons and T's serve a purpose in delaying the masses from hitting the runs all at the same time, you know what I have never experienced a T bar, if i went to Austria I could lose my T bar Virginity...
Anyone seen this site before

Its about time Skiline got a deal going with more of the major resorts so you can check your stats when you return. I would have loved to have seen what we covered in St A.

I agree old chap it's a great idea, and I for one and you for two would like it expanded asap....
