well ,as one of the souls that has decided to go i thing that the resort looks ok ,,the company looks good ..at least some like minded people .and it falls in with my plan to drive out and go one somewhere else after (or before or both)..and if I cant get my son to come with me maybe someone will share a room to allay the costs..
I always go in January and have had good conditions most years and after two holidays in aprtments it will be nice to meet new people and maybe have someone to ski with..it all makes a change

I think Ally is doing a great job and deserves all the praise for the bravery in sticking her neck out and organizing this

well that one puts me at level 4
It depends what you want...I wanted bindings I could rely on and a ( very unfashionable ) long ski ,,185/190s as i am 6'3" and 115k and I like a stiffer ski so I bought some Rossi gs world cup 9xt skis ..new but the then last seasons at an EXCELLENT price..Ive not regretted the decision Ive done 10 weeks on them so they've saved me £700 approx in rental (lees the carriage) ..
Anyone organising a group?

I might be up for it in January in France as I aim to drive out and do 2/3weeks in different resorts..I'm quite flexible as a retired old f..t and don't mind sharing...

there are loads of people who use camper vans ..but most have central heating..I have seen dedicated parking site (with service terminals) in Les Gets La Plagne and Meribel..never saw a dedicated site in Brides though
I have been told that the insulation is extremely good and they are very cosy..

they are not all like this though
