Glad to hear you've got your holiday back on track. This sort of post booking hassle would drive me nuts. Haven't been on a TO holiday since 1984.....very happy to go down the DIY route!

Yoga mat?
Is your tele broke?

I got a huge toberlorone and a lovely card. But that's all forgotten about as its Megan's birthday too.

Well that's fairly amazing. My eldest daughter, Abbie, has her birthday today as well! Father's day only lasted about 10 minutes. Happy birthday little snapzzz!

This is like Trinny and Susannah, but with some grade A wit and sarcasm thrown in for good measure. Great stuff - keep it up!

Yes, and blissfully quiet as Brits are just not going to Greece this year, luckily.

Our friends have just returned from a week in Rhodes. Apparently they had great weather and all was good. The advice is to take plenty of cash of the folding kind, rather than rely on cards.

Current black pants at the mo. Not sure what I'll end up with. Despite Far Queue's suggestion not sure I can get away with purple trousers.

You can't do black and orange....i did that and i looked a bit dull.

Better than black and brown which was my previous "look"

To be honest, I've not spent money for the sake of it or for fashion reasons. My old jacket was pretty bulky, not particularly breathable so I ended up over hot and sweaty a lot of the time and I got soaked through on our last holiday when we experienced a couple of days of falling wet snow at lower levels.

Therefore Gore-tex (or equivalent) was top of my list.

I am looking at the Norrona Lofoten Gore-tex pants in green. Can I get away with orange over green or will I look like a prat? Answers on a postcard please.

Pablo Escobar wrote:If anyone is buying Sweet Protection kit check out the special offers section of their website. You'd be doing well to get their kit much cheaper anywhere else: http://www.sweetprotection.com/webshop/en/special-offers/

Ive got a mixture of Sweet and Norona kit and it's worth the slightly higher price tag over similar brands.

I tied on some Sweet Protection gear when in Norway. Seemed very high quality - very similar to Norrona, in style and price.

Their Supernaut jacket is very smart. About £450 full price.
