Hubby has his own business and I work long hours in quite a demanding business for a national Pharmacy chain. Hence why we have booked a relaxing week away in the above villa, cant wait.

Inspired by your query Mr. W. I spent the day in BB yesterday, starting with a 3 hour swim and sunbathe at the spa, followed by lying in the park listening to the orchestra (free) and then topping off with a nice dinner in the sun at a wee Italian restaurant. Was fantastic way to spend the last day of my hols, no booze and I read an entire book - Dominic Faulkner's The Longest Climb, clycling from the Dead Sea and then climbing Everest

That sounds just like my sort of day out, unfortunately I dont get to many like that these days.

The whole day cost me about 40 quid, I topped up a quite impressive tan for April and thoroughly relaxed.
One of the things I love so much about being on the continent, and especially Germany is the massive range of things you can do.

You can go raving clubbing till 5am any day of the week, and then be sitting in a stunning flower lined park, amongst fantastic architecture the next day listening to live classical music for free.

I would find it very hard to come back to the UK now!!

People envy me, I am only a mile which ever way I go from a beach, but Summers here are any-thing but relaxing. We dont even venture out too much of a bank holiday, its far to busy for me. Thats why we are looking forward to getting away for a bit of peace and quiet.

Well I am a moderate really, a day off a season is good for you, just aswell the spring lasts about 4 minutes here, it was over 26 degrees C here everyday last week

Mind you for the UK it has been very pleasent day today, topped around 18c, not bad for old blighty

Its been lovely here to, spent a lot of the time all weekend in the garden. Trying to get a bit of a tan, only six weeks till my hols, dont want to look all pasty and white.

So, lets get this sad, snow depressing time out of our thoughts
for a while. I read about snow sure in some descriptions and then the
advice of reliable snow falls above certain heights.
What months are the most reliable in Europe?
Scandinavia or Europe?

Too much chocolate eaten

http://ski.ruka.fi/slopes/?id=382&area=ruka I know for sure Finland/Lapland resorts usually start in November and finish mid June, they clain to have the longest season. They certainly have more snow there now than when I was there in January and that was the most snow I have ever seen then.
