Makes sense. We've never had any kind of sky/cable connection. Just freeview and freesat here. I'd spend too much time watching sport!

I'm amazed the camera didn't fall off but it is a large and very robust SLR type camera circa 8 years old which meant it is large enough not to slide underneath the bars. My wife gave me a funny look when I told her about it on my return. (ie, the kind of look that suggested that perhaps she should book me to the Doctor's for a check on my brain function.....) :-)

Just back from a site visit to discover my digital camera sat on top of the car roof.

I managed to drive 50 miles with it sliding in between the roof bars.

I wondered what the clonking noise was.......

We enjoyed using the funicular. A bit weird though. Like something out of a Science fiction movie

Val d'isere 30th dec to 6th jan. very pleased to be going back after a great week there last season. We're staying in a Ski Bonjour chalet.

2nd ski hol still to be booked. Probably feb half term or maybe Easter. Venue not yet decided upon but keen on St Anton, Verbier, Zermatt, 3V, dolomites
