we had a drink there and vowed to go back for lunch (we could smell it) but didn't make it. We went to la Folie Douce though, how mental is that place  :D 8)

Would I be considered a snob if I were to admit to being very concerned about this statistic

This thread is useless without pictures...

Do you know what, I've looked and looked and looked and looked but can't find a single one

Pablo, bronzer would've done a much better job. Pop it on your list for next season :D

Pathetic effort at photos:

looking up at trolles from the Loop Bar

posing in my new jacket at the top of madeline express in Val D

plan milet in Val D at a busy period while we ate our lunch consisting of spag bol, 2 x chicken and chips, 1 plate of chips, 2 small beers and 2 orange juice all for the bargain price of 62 euros

I have the obligatory panda tan thanks Bandit. Unfortunately, I now feel the need to wear a t-shirt saying "I've been skiing" to explain to those not in the know .

I did think I'd encounter slush but I didn't think it'd be as bad as it was. It was a bit rock and a hard place though seeing as the later the better. It's definitely earlier next year and, who knows, one day I might learn to like the slush :D

On an informative note - it was obviously busy being easter, particularly at the top of La Daille area where Val D'Isere meets Tignes. However, the lifts were superb, I don't think I queued for more than five minutes at any lift. Good work

I'm afraid that I've come back with a distinct lack of photos to show, I've only got a couple that aren't of the group. My computer's playing silly buggers at the moment so I'll upload them later.
