Exhibitions in many industry sectors a having a pretty hard time at the moment. Exhibitors are counting the pennies and wondering whether staging a week long "event" is the most effective use of their funds.

Definitely echo Iceman's comments about bbqs: if you were to put the amount of food consumed by one person at a bbq onto a plate, well, it probably wouldn't fit.

Dave, you are definitely a legend in your own lifetime ! Meanwhile, I'm off to Tignes this weekend to catch the last week of their season. Did the same a couple of years ago and it was wonderful: it felt as if I had the whole place virtually to myself !
