Just checking in. Conditions in Grandvalira are absolutely fantastic, and hardly any queues, even though its French half term. That is all!

There is a local bus that runs from Pas to La Vella. This bus stops in at Grau car park so would suit your friends purposes.

I'd never heard of that hotel, but on investigating I see it is in Andorra La Vella, the main town in Andorra. The town is busy with shoppers but you would not get a ski vibe there. Better to be in or near one of the actual ski resort villages.

Also, February is a busy month due to half term holidays in France, Spain and the UK so I would get on to the hotels quickly re availability for such a large group.

The resort I stay in is Soldeu which is central to the Grandvalira area. The best hotels location wise are the Hotel Sport, Sport Village, Piolets, Himalaia, which would all be large enough to accommodate your group, and are all within a couple of minutes walk to the Gondola station.Let me know if you need any further info.
