Which field to go- first time to Austria

Another vote for Mayrhofen here. Too many reasons why and not many why not. Each of the mountains there has a different vibe. Penken young and busy, Ahorn long, cruisy and laid back, Eggalm is simply great skiing/riding. The valley from M to the Tux offers some fantastically priced high end accomodation and is linked by Apres Ski bus for 1€ if you want to go out in M. Pick a spa hotel, explore the valley, enjoy the town vibe and relax.
Megève looks quite nice!!
Here you go, all you need on one site!!

Can we have a nice big icon or something similar that consumes the entire page when there is a big dump in the Alps?

Well I thoroughly enjoyed watching Braveheart last night with a bottle of red. No matter it is somewhat factually innacurate, still a great flick.

Bit poncey, giving your plank a name innit? Tee-Hee, all those blokes in nothing but Lycra up on the KM, I get you felt ever so grungey and rad )

All my boards have names, it's like a car or a boat.

As to the lycra clad skiiers there was a lot of them, it's funny the pro's of all nationalities had to queue up with us plebs apart from the Swiss who were ushered to the front of the line through a different channel.

I told you, I don't know what grundgy or rad mean

Name for the board based on her characeristics )

Strangley attractive, a little above my level, a little tempremental, quite an edge (or two) on her, and loves the powder

Brilliant pics, very envious of you. How many trips a year do you get in?

Finn

Quite a few, but a lot are weekends or long weekends. Managed 30 days last year. I live in Sothern Germany, so I can get to many resorts for between 80-100 Euro return. In high winter I can ride locally for about 68 EUR a day including tansport, ski pass and accomodation in the Black Forest.
