Have you seen the film called "Steep" which is a historic overview of some serious extreme skiers. It is brilliant and filmed on location in Grand Teton, Chamonix and Valdez in Alaska. This is in the fall and your dead league. :roll: As the footnote stated "not everyone who goes up the mountain - returns" I have just brought the book "The Edge of Never" and am looking forward to reading it.

I was watching the rather dated, but still good, blizzard of Aahhh's the other day and the film crew came upon a lone border who had ventured out alone. Fortunately for him, they found him trapped in a Crevasse along with dead and rotting animals! :roll: Chamonix is indeed a stunning place which I would hope to visit one day.
