La Plagne is a funny resort in my opinion. Lots of little vilages spread out with some being very dead and others relatively lively. Belle Plagne and Plagne Centre are most lively, Plagne 1800 is very quiet (this is where I first ever went on the snow), but does have a couple of nice bar/restaurants. It is all linked by bus, and if you are doing a season you are gonna meet like minded souls, so it really will nt matter where you are as you will make your wn fun I guess.

He's a legend :) Back to early season, the opportunity to get cheap train tickets to Switzerland passes at midnight on a Tuesday if travelling Friday. Well out of the very hot shower I got, feeling a little dizzy, and found myself with a credit card and train card in front of the computer. Before I realised what was going on I just booked to go to Zermatt again on Friday...... :D |
