hard to say without seeing them :D if they're holed to core, ie you can see non base material, then it's awkward to repair them but not impossible. I personally have some base repair material that's a lot better at bonding to core material than normal ptex that let me repair some damaged skis. Most good ski stores should be able to do this.

Had a totally different experience at the snowdome in Tamworth. The instructor inspected everyone's boots before we started and helped them fasten the boots and get the tongues in properly. For some people he even had to pull their salopettes out of the boot :)

Instructing/leading, it's just non-stop glamour :D
I can't see the point of forcing someone to do something they don't want to do, not a good holiday. There's plenty of other things to do in the mountains, snow shoeing offers people the chance to get to places skiers don't see and is probably better exercise for many people. There's a lot of people getting dragged onto ski holidays they're not enjoying to keep a partner happy who'd enjoy trying something different if they had a chance.
Can't stop smiling !!!

I'm guessing the "Varied" i put for Off-piste in LGB today was fairly accurate then :D ?

For one word that's about right :D Above 1600m it would have been pretty good but this is pretty low really.
