I'm actually not that bothered. I'm sure the BT engineer will sort out the problem and we'll be back to a storming 2 meg connection! Enough for my uses.

I'm old enough to remember the excitement of upgrading the modem in my 1st proper computer from 14.4K to 28.8k in about 1995!!

Slower than 94% of GB

After putting up with a steadily declining broadband connection over the last 2 or 3 weeks, I finally rang BT this afternoon to try to sort it out. Broadband speed test came back at 0.4meg with a 600 ping.....that'd get snapzzz weeping over his keyboard!!

Apparently there is a problem with our local area network. Engineer heading our way soon.
