yes...when someone "borrowed " my skis a few seasons ago I had to pay full price in Samoens..luckily the insurance paid for most of it...thank G-d for credit cards

just surfing and found this site which I have not come across before..might be an alternative to Skiset et al prices seem to be reasonable and they carry a bigger range of skis by the looks of it

Welcome ...just had a look at these but can't help thinking that if yo have one of these on your helmet that it will be like putting a plastic bag on..no ventilation at all

Sounds like good advice but as I said my old skis are GS race ones and really not for powder...I'll keep looking ta all

Been listening to Pavelski et al about having "quivers" and as my current ski is a GS race ski I was thinking of dipping my toe in the water and buying a pair of Blizzard TITAN CRONUS (refurbed 2009) ..they might get rid of that sinking feeling every time I go into anything deeper than 2"...any thoughts

"No Fear " are a well known brand but I wouldn't buy a helmet unless I had tried it on first...they have to be comfortable and have plenty of ventilation...but then I wouldn't buy a helmet anyway!
