Mark,
I have just come back from Les Arc and stayed in Altitude. Overall the chalet is quite good in my opinion and the food was decent. However, be warned you will endure the smallest ski and boot rooms you will ever see and it is a nightmare in the mornings. The bars and there were quite decent and the crazy fox is joined to the hotel so you dont have to go far. Whistlers Dream is also ok and the Arc 1950 is much better and I would strongly recommend Valentino's when your chalet person has their night off. Top quality food!!! Enjoy your time there and have fun, I know that I did. |

Thanks Ian,
I have found some flights for 50 each which is not too bad. Do you know any websites or private owned chalets in either Austria or France which would offer a weekend ski break? Any other websites would be helpful to for other countries as the flights are quite cheap. |

I have just come back from Les Arcs and it was amazing.
I want to book a weekend skiing at the end of march but am struggling to find companies that offer them. Please can someone give me some help or advice? |

Mr H, I am so disappointed in your comments.
As you well know we are a very entertaining couple and nobody needs to be scared. We will endeavour to have a superb time and I am sure we will both get to grips with it this time so that we can learn the real beauty of skiing. Do that mean we need to get red salos??? Failing that if we dont suceed we will try snowboarding as we know you are a secret boarder. |

It is the weekend and me and the OH are off to Les Arc on Sunday morning.
Absoulutely cant wait. Have a catered chalet in Arc 2000 and from what I have seen on the web the snow is fantastic. The forecast is cold for the beginning of the week but little new snow so hopefully the cannons can be used. Cant wait to hit the slopes and get some white stuff under my skis. Sooooo excited. |

I would concur with Mr H as Sauze is a good resort in terms of price. Apres is brilliant there and prices are reasonable.
For mixed ability Les Arcs is a defo. I am off there on Sunday and cant wait as I know my OH is going to get a superb skiing experience. I know it is pricey but if you have mixed ability there is many miles for everyone to ski. |
