Thanks Crispyapplepie,
What % of the ski area is made up of tree lined runs? Perhaps I should have clarified the % area of at least 25% of the total ski area or more. Would Meribel, la Tania, Champousson and Morgin have at least 25% of tree lined runs? |

If like me you enjoy skiing tree lined runs, be them steep or crusing. I thought it would be a good idea to draw on the vast experience of j2ski members and compile a list of the top six tree lined ski resorts in Europe. With my limited experience I would think that Sauze d'Oulx would make the list together with Serre Che which I am due to visit in March. What resort in your experience would make the top six? I will then hopefully be in a position to make the top six list.
Thanks Alistair :-) |

This baby will do!
http://www.uttings.co.uk/Product/431/106495/silva-xcl-headlamp-with-4.5ah-battery-pack-57061-45/ With two halogen lamps of 10 and 20W switchable. It should provide a reasonable light so you don't bump into any brown bears on the way down the mountain. :D |

Emma, Thats a big one  This is one occasion when it would be of benefit to have something a little bit more compact. Who wants to look like an elephant coming down the mountain
The head fishing torch is likely to be too weak. I think they do a head lamp with an exernal battery pack that give off a powerful light. This is used for shooting. I will do a bit of research and get back. |

Tony,
Just seen the all mountain Palmer (I'm not a rep, honest) Nice looking skis however, not seen any testing reviews yet. See what you think:- http://www.bargainboards.co.uk/P/Palmer-P01-LE-Skis(10187).aspx |

:-)Dave, You've obviously done this routine many times before, so I will wind my neck in  However, a good quality head torch sounds good for your Christmas present list. Anybody on J2ski done any research in relation to an affordable high powered head torch suitable for a night time dabble?
