Alpe D'huez does exactly this. There are, I believe, 4 button lifts servicing the huge expanse of greens (I'm sure I've read that these lifts are now free) and once he's progressed he can get into a gondola that'll drop him at the top of these very long greens. It'd be perfect for him (I know from experience, I'm afraid of heights too).
