There's loads to do. Take a look: http://www.peakretreats.co.uk/summer/tignes.htm http://www.evolution2.com/tignes/en/default.htm We're only paying £1,700 for a 4 bed apartment for 2 weeks. |

We've gone through 2 windscreens in our Audi in 2 years. Took 3 attempts for the windscreen people to get the latter one sorted. |

We've just booked our next trip to Tignes.............
.............in July 2013! Two weeks in the Le Telemark apartments in Tignes Le Lacs. Mega cheap compared to the winter prices. I'm not assuming that we'll be able to ski but it would be a nice bonus. Primary aim is to do some mountain biking, canyoning etc etc and maybe have a crack at some climbing using the via ferrata (with guide!). We'll be getting the ferry so taking our car which should open up further opportunities. Definitely have a drive up to the Col d'Iseran. Second ski holiday in the main season looking less likely unfortunately. Just really expensive as we are confined to school hols and we need to buy a new car soon as well. :( At least we will be booking Xmas 2013 ski hol soon though. No rest for the wicked in chez BB |

As long as we get a scandinavian flag for the relevant section, then I will be happy....

When shopping in Two Seasons just before Christmas, I picked up a very nice grey beanie and tried it on. Unfortunately my daughters fell about the shop in absolute horror. Apparently, I am far too old to wear such a thing. :( Therefore I'm still stuck with my flappy eared trapper style hat, of the type that you might see in the film Deliverance. |

This is mid station in Hemsedal.
One of our previous holidays was like this. Made the day's skiing 'challenging' to say the least! |

Also watched the Super G on the red button this morning.
Chemmy was heading for a really good time on the downhill until her mistake towards the bottom of the course. Bet she was very frustrated. Promising signs though!! |

interesting thoughts snapzzz. We stayed at Les Arcs 1950 2 years ago and whilst we certainly enjoyed the holiday, we're not intending to return anytime soon. Arcs 1950 felt like an artificial construct. Pleasant looking architecture but a bit 'disneyfied' and a bit like the towns they build for wild west films. After about 7pm the village was as flat as a pancake.
