What does everyone do with their skis?
Going on my second ski trip in January and will be putting my boots in my luggage. However, I will have my own skis. If I put them in a big and wrap them in clothes will they be ok? Any tips with skis on a plane? |

Hi there,
I've been looking at resorts in Austria and the biggest resort I can get a good price on is Mayrhofen working out at around £530 each (including pass)with free ski hire thrown in for the gf. Priced other resorts - St Anton, saalbach, zell am see and Ischgl and were working out too pricey. Looks like I may be booking Mayrhofen soon and was wondering if anyone has any tips / guides or can point me in the directions of other posts made with good info on Mayrhofen. Both myself and my gf are intermediate. We also got the same price offered for Soll, so If given the choice where should we go? My biggest concern is where has the best snow? This year I will have my own skis to take and was wondering if I put them in one bag allong with 2 pairs of boots would I get away with the one ski charge?
