Thanks DM, that gives me some more leads to follow. The walking map recommends that a transponder and shovel are carried which makes me think the routes are not prepared pistes but require a certain amount of mountain experience. Thanks again for your help.

Can anyone advise on winter walks in and around Cervinia? One member of our group does not ski and we wondered if there were some easy walks suitable for tackling solo. Info on the Cervinia website suggests trails could be more for intermediate/advanced snow treckers. Thanks.

Many thanks Dan-o, will go ahead with FSA. Hi tspill, I have also had bad experiences with ESF in the past, apart from in Tignes were they were excellent!

Hi, Can anyone tell me about Free School Attitude in Val T? I'm going 7th April and want to book some private lessons but have left it a bit late and most a.m. lessons have gone, only people with availability are these guys. There doesn't seem to be many private instructors in Val T so if anyone can help with info I would be really grateful. :D

You can't be too safe Tony!! Seriously tho I hope your leg is now ok Laura and you are planning your next ski trip. That is definitely a horror of a chair but the run down through the bumps is worth it if you can ever bring yourself to have another go.

Thanks Ally, I will take a look. Only my opinion, but I think there is a very good reason why the ESF are cheaper than anyone else.....

Hi All, Off to Tignes on 27th March - can't wait, and wondered if anyone can recommend a good ski school? I'm a bit stuck to the blues as am a bit of a wuss on the steeps - must progress! Always avoid ESF after a couple of bad experiences in the early days but Tignes seem to have a good choice of schools? Any help appreciated. Thanks.
