I think that's the key. I definitely believe that parents should have the right to take their kids out of school for one week in a year.

Skiing is a great activity done together as a family - and that's all too rare nowadays. There are a whole range of educational and personal development positives for the younger ones - language, geography, weather, awareness of safety issues, taking responsibility for yourself and your kit, route finding as a team... quite apart from the fact that it's great fun too!

Current Snow Conditions in Soll

Like many Austrian Ski Resorts, looks like Soll is off to a cracking start - although it might all melt by February... not. :D

They all come, via several routes, from the Tourist Offices - and many of them are just not reporting yet... most are not fully staffed until December... :evil:

There are holes for now, but our coverage should improve dramatically over the next few weeks. 8)
