All my relatives behave in that manner when they are at skiing.They call me just to know how well they're doing,SKIING!!and I'm like "ok....I hope I'll be able to ski soon enough =(("
ofc ski lessons give a boost in skill;some don't take lessons (or enough lessons) because they can't afford to
roll your ankles and knees from one side to another to put pressure on the skis' edges and keep it like that for a while.U will notice you begin to turn...Of course,I think proper pole planting is a key to initiate a turn.

what a picture!it seems like the slope moved downwards,like when your are editing a photo.you move it and that's Bode's position.

I'd love to properly learn how to ski in powder,using a good technique.Your pieces of advice sound great and I can't wait to try them out.But I'd like to learn how to turn in deep snow and hear some details about that bounce that is needed when turning.

I watched that sofa ski school video some time ago when i started realizing that I wasn't much involved in acknowledging my technique.Believe me...after some days viewing that video on youtube(and a few others) and imagining myself on the ski slope in those specific positions made a huge difference.The first time I skied after that was something like this: "I know what I have to do.Focus!" and the second I started going downhill magic happened! I was carving quite nicely...It was amazing....
Sölden & Hochgurgl/Obergurgl

I've skied at Sölden,it's truly a wonderful and unique experience,but I haven't gone to Hochgurgl,although... as far as I remember there where some fantastic views of that area
