Les Deux Alpes is fab at the moment. Lower slopes poorish as usual but higher up the skiing is beautiful. Bluebird day all day today.

Well, almost. The van is nearly packed, just waiting for daughter number 2 to arrive tomorrow morning from Nottingham and then it's off to the tunnel for a 9.20pm crossing. Les Deux Alpes here we come

We stayed at Champs du Moulins in the valley below. It is a caravan neige campsite so full y equipped with hook up, boot / locker room, washing facilities, showers etc. I would recommend it.

We skied last Easter and are off in a fortnight again. The lower slopes were ok but a bit sparse in places. There was more than enough snow for the week and the area is big enough to keep you occupied. We took our motorhome to Venosc in the valley below and wore tshirts every evening until the sun went down. Les Deux itself was dry all week and we often sat outside in our tshirts. We wore less in the way of thermals and had just several thin layers on which we could take off or put on if needed. Up on the glacier is beautiful and the views are spectacular. Enjoy

We use Buff's but they get quite damp and manky. I hate getting a cold chin/ face so good luck with your research.

I would also look at Italy, the reds in France are often steeper than the Italian ones......don't want to scare the other half too much. Cervinia comes recommended by several if my friends and I really liked Sauze D'oulx.
