My daughter broke her hand playing rugby just before our ski trip. Her hand physio made a special splint especially for her with the fingers free and she skied one handed. We didn't say anything to the insurance company and took the risk. We avoided drag lifts but she managed everything else fine. Hers wasn't pinned which was probably worse and more painful. The doctor in London wanted to pin it but when she said she lived in Dorset he said to see the surgeons down here. They couldn't make their minds up for weeks so it didn't get operated on. Probably would have healed sooner :(

Probably Les Deux Alpes 29th March. Possibly late deal in Feb half term but looking doubtful :(

Sadly only the one trip next year. Probably Les Deux Alpes at Easter. Taking the motorhome over again. Hopefully a couple of the kids will be able to make the trip. Then Florida in the summer courtesy of my parents timeshare. So can't really justify two ski holidays...............or just maybe if I can get a really cheap last minute somewhere.

Lucky devils already have that sorted. The eldest is going to Morzine at Christmas with friends and then with us at Easter. The other 2 have Uni trips planned. I really must try to sneak another one in......last minute booking next Feb I reckon. :mrgreen:

We went to Morzine last summer, absolutely beautiful. Stunning scenery, only downside was the amount of noisy crickets and grasshoppers...I am terrified of them!!!!!!! Would definitely return :mrgreen:

Ours is all washed and packed too.....sadly until next season. Definitely going to take the motorhome again next Easter. Fab trip, Les Deux Alpes was amazing and the campsite was lovely. -)
