Just looking at the weather forecast for Zell - looks like there is going to be quite a bit of snow this week. You have me and my snow dancing buddies to thank for that. You must be getting excited - not long to go now. :D

Just wondered if anyone else had been to Val Senales. Many moons ago when I was at college they organised an Easter ski trip. Previously I had only skiied on dry slopes and the Scottish ski resorts. We stayed in the Grawand Hotel and it was an amazing holiday. The weather was fabulous and I had the best tan I've ever had, even on a summer holiday and the skiing was superb. Really long cruisy blue runs and good snow. Downside you had to stay in the hotel for apres ski as the last funicular was 4.30pm. Great holiday though. Anyone else been there? Ria x

Hi Sue.
Only been twice to Zell am See. The first time was two years ago for New Year and we had a great time and I fell in love with the place. I know about the Schmitten webcam (watch it most days)and do you know Crazy Daisy also has a live webcam. I was spotted by someone at home who knew we were there ordering a drink from the bar - scary :roll: |

Hi Sue. Glad you had a good time in Zell. My kids and their friend went to the Pinzgauer Hutte I think - is that the place where the skidoo has a rope which you hang on to and it takes you back on to the piste after you have eaten. I keep looking at my photos and longing to go back, but it wont be till next year unfortuantely. I have uploaded a couple of pics which are my favourites.
