Try Arinsal in Andorra! It's quite cheap to get to and is a linked ski area so lots of scope for your girlfriend to ski more difficult runs. Nice little village with plenty bars and restaurants if you want it. We went for the first time last year and are going back on the 30th Jan.

Good choice skiinggolfer its a lovely hotel. We went bowling there one night last year. Make sure you use the arinsal website Ryan gave you the link for we've boooked our holiday accommodation and lift passes through them, it may work out cheaper than through an operator.

My thoughts exactly Bandit! I've got a boot bag so was just planning on putting my purse and travel docs in the boots bag along with my boots and taking it on the plane with me. We're flying to Barcelona then have to travel to Andorra from there so it could potentially be a nightmare getting them to resort if they don't turn up on the carousel

My only worry is my case getting lost. My ski boots are brand new and my very first pair so i'd be devastated if they didn't get to resort with me. Not worried about losing the rest of my stuff i'll ski naked as long as i have my lovely new boots with me haha :P

Yeah maybe that's a better idea than carrying them on board. Don't really want to have to open my case in the middle of the baggage hall! :oops:

Yes Ryan i'll look out for you! We're staying at the Sant Moritz this year which came highly recommended by some people we met in Arinsal last year. We arrive on the 30th Jan so will hopefully bump into you (not literally I hope)! Blue ski jacket and red trousers and shiny new Salomon boots! 25 days and counting woohoo! :D

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll be flying Newcastle to Barcelona so will enquire if I can take them on as hand luggage. Will look forward to replies of peeps flying with easyjet in the next few weeks. :-)
