Argh! Don't tempt me!
The first few lessons are always really hard work. Dry slope is also quite difficult to ski on. Do you not live near a snow dome? It might help to have a lesson on snow and it will help to build your confidence as well. Don't be disheartened and keep at it.
Thanks Ian, that's great.

I have used cardboard versions of these that can be thrown away, at festivals on several occasions. They save hovering over or sitting on nasty dirty portaloo seats and they reduce the risk of falling into the the infamous Glastonbury long drops! All good in my opinion!
Thanks Ian.
Do you have any info on lift passes or skiing prices too, or where i can find out about them?
I'm looking into having a few days skiing in Scotland later this month. Can anyone recommend where to stay and how to go about it? Thanks

Yeah I've had 5 days antibiotics and i'm not really any better so going to see my GP this afternoon. Ears still haven't popped back either so everything sounds like i'm underwater!
I thought i was just being a wuss when i was getting breathless on the slopes and put it down to the altitude. I think i did quite well considering my diagnosis!
