Don't think I could afford to live in Bagshot and go skiing... nothing against Bagshot although it was never the same after the "Bert's Gone Mad" closed down... 8)

Ski Carriage charges

That doesn't seem to be the case for EasyJet.

If you pre-pay, then their ski/sports carriage fee is a not unreasonable £16.50 (each way). They don't appear to have a specific limit on the ski bag either, rather...
Payment of the additional fee increases your checked-in hold baggage allowance (including additional item) to a maximum weight of 32kgs.

I usually manage to get my baggage under 20kg, including ski boots, so that would leave 12kgs for skis - above which there is excess baggage fee to be paid. Fair enough I think.

Full info (unless I missed something) is under Section 10 of this page :-

http://www.easyjet.com/EN/Book/regulations.html#baggage

However, the 6kg limit being imposed on Tom is stupidly small - can you identify the airline and/or Tour Operator responsible for the limit Tom? It may be worth trying to persuade them of the error of their ways... 8)

Have a most excellent one Ross - good to see ya.
I think committing yourself to denial for the period of your holiday is the best plan. Avoid any attempt to convert the amount into pounds; oh lunch is 15 la la la la la las... better make some sandwiches...
