Iceman, for similar reasons, can you please amend your post to remove details. Ally is trying really hard here to sort this out and I think we should give her all the help we can.

Thanks, sorry you can't make that date but if this works there is sure to be others.

Is yours an instructor?

Actually my eldest is (although you'd have thought he invented skiing to listen to him), so I can't really ignore him, can I?

Free lessons though :D

Felthorpe ......

I really must disagree you are just simply being defeatist.
A little setback should not put you off your next ski trip this season.

This is what you do ....

This evening - preparation.
Ask how long hubby thinks the wound will take to heal, when will he be fully mobile?

You then need to say how disapointed you are - you had booked a surprise ski trip for the two of you ....

On - a few days before he thinks he will be mobile - and that the insurance say you can't get a full refund.

So ...
You really must go ahead with the trip otherwise it is just money down the drain..

Obviously you will be heartbroken at missing a trip with him - blah blah blah etc etc etc

Job done

I can't see him falling for that one. I could just go on my own? :?:
