Dakine do really good wheeled bags with separate compartments for boots, makes flying much easier if you only have to carry skis. We usually take one of these wheeled bags for clothes and boots, a rucksac (so we are hands free) and skis in a bag (nothing else but lightweight padding in with skis to reduce the weight). It is perfectly manageable like this but of course sometimes we just drive -)

There is nothing wrong with my beer arm, it is my ski legs that need attention!

I walk past the torture machine (cross trainer) every day thinking I really should get on that and get fit (well anything would be an improvement).

I hope that with the improvement in the economy more retailers turn up this year. I haven't been for a few years because last time I went it was a bit disappointing. Roll on the winter ski chums

Help me design a new CONCEPT Snow-sports HELMET! (Small survey included)

A damp buff around the face is not ideal but is usually what i end up with on those particularly cold days or when the snow is being blown horizontally. I have looked at those new designs with the small grill over the mouth area to help breath escape and not make the fabric wet but don't know if they actually work? I am not sure i would buy a helmet specifically because it contained technology to solve this problem, as it is only a minor inconvenience and a quick stop for a coffee and to adjust buff so that the damp bit is at the back, soon sorts out any discomfort.
