I suppose you buy the Daily Sport for its incisive political commentary? ) )

Actually, I've just thought of something. Given my total loathing of crowds of any sort AND queueing (spelling?) maybe skiing isn't for me - though if I gave up I'd have to leave this forum as well :( as Mr Admin won't let us post about anything that's not ski-related...

Have looked at French holidays - complicated
Basically, you have to allow not just for school holidays in the immediate area of the alps, but people taking holidays from the likes of Paris who might take their hols in the alps as well. So write off all dates between 6 Feb and 7 March. I think I'll take Tony's advice and go 1st or 2nd week in Jan  We usually meet loads of Dutch people wherever we go in Austria, so I wonder when their half term is? Hi SkiGirl
I'm no expert, but I believe you can get a train from Munich to either Salzburg or Innsbruck. From there, a local train should get you to Worgl. I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be a train straight to Worgl from Munich. I recommend buying a European train timetable. It's not very expensive and should show you where all the trains go. Look at this link http://www.seat61.com/Thomas-Cook-European-Timetable.htm Maybe someone else on this forum can provide some more detailed info? Worgl isn't that far from Niederau, but involves a really twisty road up into the mountains  Allie |

You are so right, Eljay. I just love seeing the little ones having their lessons. They look so cute!
