Hi All

Can anyone suggest anywhere to go summer skiing for a long weekend and how to get there etc, I've looked at going to Hintertux as its only for a couple of days but cant seem to get flights that are reasonable from the UK.

Many Thanks
Steve

Self catering probably or even a catered chalet for ease.

Hi Andy I've mainly skied in Austria, Mayrohofen, Sol, Kaprun I've also skied Italy Sauze Doulx, Montgenevre France and I liked it there so thinking maybe somewhere around that area, I've looked at TO and it seems to be cheaper to book our own as their will be six of us in total,Also don't want to be to far away from airport.

Thanks again

Solden, Saalbach or Mayrhofen

With Mayrhofen you have the altitude comedy festival which starts on the 16th March for a week which is when I will be there, personally ive only been once to Mayrhofen but I thouroughly enjoyed it. I skied the glacier and also over to Eggalm and then took the lift down and the bus back to Mayrhofen. I thought food and beer were good and not overpriced either. In terms of snow ive only ever skkied in March and apart from last year in Italy conditions have been good wherever we have been and thats mainly been austria.

Loved the apres when I was there last although it will be much quieter for me this time as im taking the missus.
Austria mid march

Hi all

Can anyone give me some ideas of where is best to board in Austria in mid March, somewhere relatively easy for a beginner at snowboarding, I'm a skier myself but this will be the first time for my partner and I will be having a bash at boarding myself.

Thanks all

Steve

Can anyone give me any pointers on where to go around 12 of April for few days snowboarding, and where's best with shortish transfers I can travel from nearly any uk airport.

Thanks in advance
