Just flight, transfers, chalet and usual chalet-board of breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner with wine.If you want to price up equipment hire, have a look at SlideCandy in Meribel. Everyone has used them and never had a problem yet - and they deliver to the chalet.

I'm 47, the others are 38 to 55. We have just booked today in Chalet Suzanne at £699 inc flights. It is with SkiTotal if anyone wants to enquire directly with the operator and meet up with us there. We are also in Meribel on 10th March but that's while you're already away. On that trip there are 12 guys and just three girls so we are always looking for more ladies to join us. What happens to women over 40? They just seem to hang up their skis! Worse still, they start going to "healthfarms". Scares me!

Sorry but I'm useless at forums and have only ever used them to let other solo skiers know where they can meet up with fellow solos. I would never ski again if I had to go alone so I invite other people to join my friends at I if they are also solos. I must confess I don't follow "threads", I just prefer to ski as much as I can.

Sorry, is this a serious question? Last season a group of us skied together in Meribel and have kept in touch ever since. It is a lovely way to meet fellow skiers who don't want to ski alone and we welcome anyone who would like to join us.

Six of us solo skiers are getting together from this site and going to Meribel 18th February. There are still two more beds in the chalet if anyone would like to join us. £650 inc flights and transfers, full chalet board. Payment direct to chalet company, get in touch with me for details. Otherwise, anyone in the resort that week who wants to meet up for a drink can find us in Jacks Bar when the lifts close - look for bright orange ski pants!

Any one wanting to join 19 solo skiers in a fully catered chalet, inc flights and transfers £650 (inc half price local lift pass). Everyone is single/married to non-skier but travelling alone. No children, couples, teenagers, students, just relaxed individuals wanting to join a friendly ski group. We enjoy our apres ski as well as getting the most out of our time on piste. Crowd of over 40's solo skiers in Meribel 15h January 2011. All intermediate to advanced. Good mix of male:female. Some keen off-piste, others piste cruisers. Very sociable. £650 luxury chalet - hot tub, sauna, private chauffeur.
