We've got one place left in a chalet of solo skiers in Meribel 15th January 2011. All intermediate to advanced. Good mix of male:female. All over40's.

I'm on pistepals and I've put together a holiday based on the replies I've had. Still got a place left for 6th March in Meribel. Fifteen of us got together to take a full chalet at £459 fully catered. All solo skiers wanting someone to ski with/eat with/travel with. Large group means no pressure of sticking with one-to-one ski buddy. We're meeting up in London in December for a beer. Anyone welcome.

This sounds like trouble - he's a suicidal boarder as well. Don't know much about this male ski-ego thing but I do keep the doctor's number handy.

Sorry - forgot last bit. Yes you can organise your own travel - so far we have people on Manchester, Stansted and Gatwick flights plus Eurostar One is on the sleeper coach to get two extra days skiing. If you fancy that look up wwwskimeribel.co.uk. Think it's about £149 and you arrive Saturday morning, depart following Saturday evening.

The chalet tells me it is unlimited wine with dinner until coffee is served - ie the usual chalet format. Regarding the fire place, yes there is one but one of the guys on the trip tells me he'll ski your boots off so there won't be anything left to burn!

Getting a better deal in a chalet in Meribel for £459 plus £89 Easyjet flights. Meeting tomorrow night if anyone wants to come. 7.30pm Le Pain Quotidien, Covent Garden.

Yes they are on top of that. If we get the full 20 people that the chalet can take, I'll try to get a few more things thrown in - like ski and boot hire.

I'm going to the show on Wednesday and then a group of us are getting together afterwards in central London for a beer and to finalise our ski plans for a trip to Meribel 6th March. All solo skiers wanting to join a crowd in a chalet. Everyone welcome. We're booking on Thursday after the meetup. Meeting 7.30pm in upstairs bar at Le Pain Quotidien in Covent Garden Piazza.
