I'm glad you had a great week Getjim, and I'm looking forward to your report :D

I'm still waiting for someone to walk through it ... |

That's great Knapdog - it was a pretty close thing though!
I hope you have a great time :D Ally |

Dave,
Don't pay any attention to those jokers. They're just pulling your leg, and having a laugh  I bet everyone here would be delighted to be able to ski as well (and as fast) as you do. I know that I, for one, wouldn't be able to ski with my skis as close together as that for more than about 5 seconds before they crossed each other and I fell over. I like that classical ski style - it looks something like waltzing on the dance floor - very elegant :D Ally |

Caron,
How many days are left now? Have you done your packing, and how're the exercises going? I have to work Good Friday and the Saturday as well, because we've got holidaymakers going out and coming in. I guess probably quite a lot of people have to work Easter week. Let's hope not too many people have to work actually on Easter Sunday. All the best for your holiday :D Ally |

Dave,
Thanks very much for the video. Now - that's what I call ski-ing :D It's a pity it wasn't you, in that slalom stadium, instead of me - you'd have done a really 'tidy' (Pembrokeshire slang) job of those gates :D Ally |

Johntin,
Thanks for the update. I hope it gets sorted soon. Making you and your friends wait this long is totally disgraceful  Ally |

Thanks Eggman, that's very kind of you
There seem to be several possible different train routes. I will have to see which is the quickest nearer to the time we're going. There is a station at Sallanches and there seems to be one 10 minutes away at what I think is another St Gervais. Ally |
