Comborciere in Les Arcs - long, long and very Black... with a pitch that steepens as you descend.

Glorious in fresh snow but when the snow is tired it sucks you in; almost always good at the top (which you can clearly see from the chair up) but the last quarter can be iced up moguls the size of small cars.

And you always seem to hit them at exactly that point when your legs are crying to give up and the adrenalin of the top section can no longer mask the pain in your thighs.

Absolutely love it though. :D
We have a software update to install this afternoon, so the forum will bounce just after 4pm.

The reset will close all active sessions - i.e. you will be logged out and will need to log back in again after.

If all goes well, downtime should be a few seconds only.

I'll bump this again five minutes before.

This will make for great marketing slogans next winter - "book your ski holiday today - last chance before the end of the world".

As long as the arrival of the giant crocodile in the sky coincides with a cold front we should get some great snow on the last day too...

Oakley Crowbars - as recommended by your friendly local Scot.

Would have thought a Giro would be good for most helmet-compatible goggle designs?

You're probably aware that, when you browse via the Forum Index page, you can see a list of the users currently online.

If you'd prefer not to be included in that list when you're online (i.e. you'd rather browse by unannounced), you can alter your profile accordingly.

In your My Profile area, scroll down to Preferences, and select the appropriate button next to "Hide my online status:" (i.e. set it to "Yes" if you wish to browse unnoticed).

Although this option has always been there, we broke it in a recent update and have now fixed it (hopefully).

Note that you may need to log out and log back in again for it to take effect.

Any problems, let me know... 8)
