Hi Irina (& others)
Wondered if you ever did get the info re ski conditions in April. I would love to ski in April in Canada/USA, Montreal (Mt Tremblant) seems to be best deals flying from the UK. Anyone know if April 6th - 14th would be "guaranteed" reasonable skiing for 2 beginners & a very average intermediate. Thanks |

Thanks 4X4, I really appreciate your help.
I am new to Andorra, though my brother has been a couple of times. We will fly in to Barcelona, plan to hire a car. Is this the best way to go, or would a car be a hinderance in resort. I want a hotel with a pool/sauna/steam, which would you recommend. With having our son, lively bars are not on the agenda, but a selection of family friendly food (Esp Pizza for junior) is important. All opinions really welcome. |

Hi
I am planning on taking my wife & son (9) skiing at start of April. First time for them. Which resort would be best for late season beginners, want nice accomodation (hotel/appt/chalet) & good food/wine. Like idea of week in Andorra, then a few days in Barcelona to relax/recover! Any suggestios really welcome. Tahnks |

Thank you for your reply.
I was in St Anton for a week start of Feb, visited Lech/Oberlech. Fantastic lunch at Burg Kristal. The skiing was easier at Lech than St Anton/Stuben/St Cristophe. You will no doubt try these areas, great for your "expert" son. Have fun! |

Hi
Looking for a good resort for two beginners (wife & 9 year old son) at start of April. Looking at flying in to Geneva, would like resort with good ski school, hotel with good spa/sauna/steam pool complex, a nice alpine feel for the family's first ski holiday together. I am a "low end" intermediate, but would rather see the family have a fun learning experience while skiing a bit with them later in the holiday! Any help really appreciated. Many Thanks |

Hi
My family is looking at a late ski holiday. My wife & son (9) have never skied before, I am a "low end" intermediate. We have read that learning in US/Canada is so much better than Europe. We wish to travel early April for 7/10 days. Easiest destinations for us North East (flying from UK), but which if any resorts would still be open mid April & what would conditions be like. I have also looked a lot at Colorado & Alberta resorts, but a lot less expensive for us to get to Boston or Montreal. Please help as I cannot decide which resort, or if it will be worth extra to travel further west. All help really appreciated. Many Thanks |
