(Ability..High Intermediate but will try anything but happy on reds, blacks and a bit off piste) Do like the odd beer though!

Now last year that would have been perfect for Mr B who is of a similar ability and always skis these runs on his own. - Also not a stranger to a beer or two (or three)and at that interesting age (old). We went to Serre Che last year at half term - great place - but going to the Grande Massif this year - Maybe another year - Just one more half term ski for us before I retire.Bring on the cheap deals !!

Lizzie B.Never thought of the Grande massif. what resort are you going to? We too are at that "retiring" stage!!

My OH is in the same boat...does'nt like skiing but likes walking the trails , bit of pampering , swimming in pool etc. Last year we went to Sauze which she really enjoyed, Before that we have been to Le Corbier which again was OK for her as she really enjoyed the outdoor pool that looks up the mountain...and the snowflakes falling as she was swimming. Le Corbier is good because a well know TO does cheap hols there...does'nt take a rocket scientist to work out who. -)
Where shall we go this year?

Serre Che is not small..250kms across 4 linked resorts 70% in the trees ...You would be pushed to ski it out in a week of hard skiing. There is also lots of good off piste as well.

I've only got the odd 8 weeks off. Spent yesterday playing golf, watching cricket and drinking beer. Today was tough...cut the hedge 'till 2 then had a rest with wifey and her friend drinking Prosecco with brandy and liquers. Tomorrow, more hedge, golf, badminton and prob a bottle of plonk in the sun preparing for my tough drive to Cote D'Or for a month in the surf...fishing, swimming, sunbathing and seeing if the frogs still do good wine....Ah someone has to do it!! -)
