I just use a good combination lock and a small length of chain to wrap around the bindings. Works fine....thieves usually act quick so as not to get attention and thus anything that slows them up usually deters them.
A friend of mine told me he splits his skis up , well separated in the rack....he reckons that that finding the two matching skis is far to difficult for most in the short time available to nick them!! |

Its interesting that other than the Tignes mob going in January here seems to be no favourite J2ski place to go.

I reckon the best learner slopes are at Monetier as they are in the village. A free bus transits the whole area very regularly. There are lots of decent ski schools around and most speak good english. I agree with the "food stops" mentioned but found Pra Long quite expensive. Le Ratier has a great reputation for food but whatever you will have a great time in Serre. Don't forget to do some serious Apres at La Grotte!!! :-)
