I have worn contacts for several years now for cricket, badminton and skiing...not all at the same time I may add. I also have some prescription sunnys which I wear on sunny days instead. The main problem with contacts is that when I stop for a meal/drink at lunchtime I cant see the bloody menu or prices so I have to carry a cheap set of reading glasses as well. Defeating the object comes to mind!! SOOO this season I am trying goggles with prescription inserts in my NEW goggles so when I take them off it will allow me to read things in the bar, see my money and be able to do up buttons and stuff again without looking like a blind prate. If I ever find my way back to the UK again I will let you know how I got on! :D

Hi Lota
I've used Rocketski a few times both in a group context and just for me and OH. Value for money wise they are very good but having said that I have heard mixed reports about some of the resort hotels I have not been to. However Le Corbier was really excellent ...doorstep sking, really pleasant largish rooms with a BATH and excellent food. I have also been to Serre Che with them which again was ski in ski out but unfortunately they have ceased to go there. I must say the staff are pleasant and their on line chat facility is good. Overall as value for money is very good. |
