Not usually with ski's but our boards. We have rucksacks that the board clips into. So as we usually eat outside at mountain cafe's they sit by the side of us. I am so suspicious I dont leave any-thing to chance. Silly really but I suppose it comes from living in an area where they would nick any-thing.

Yes I noticed too. Still the burden of carrying four stars was way too much, three stars much better :lol:

Have a great birthday Eljay and a wonderful trip. A work colleague came back from N York last week she had a wonderful time.

I have been skiing for six years now and have never managed to get my apres boots right. The first holiday I bought suede boots with sheepskin linings. Not practical they kept my feet warm, but the suede gets wet and not much tread on the bottom, so slippy. Next year bought some columbia boots, waterproof and plenty of tread but were just not warm enough. Third year bought something like timberlands, again waterproof, plenty of tread but so heavy my legs ached and I got bad blisters.
Then I bought some solomon boots, as did Hubby, not exactly attractive but covered all points, waterproof, warm, comfy with good tread. I wish I had invested in a good pair of boots in the first place. I plan on getting some Sorel boots for next year just because they will be okay for walking and going into bars, but my trusty solomons will be going with me as well.

No probably only about 10 pairs regularly for work. Slippers about house. Boots only in winter and live in my reefs in the summer. But I have had some for a long time but they all do get worn at some stage depending on what I am wearing.

Including trainers,sandals, flip flops,boots and slippers I currently have 72 pairs of footwear. Most are in their original boxs or perspex shoe boxs and a four tiered unit especially for boots.
