Snow records

Remember how just 7 or 8 weeks ago, many of us were posting things such as:-

"getting the jitters" (by my good self)
"Its warm...."
"there is no snow"
"should I cancel"
etc etc

These were mainly filled with comments from Sir AndyHull (yes, I have knighted him)

I have been using a site for my snow reports for Val T. It is interesting to see that the graph half way down the page shows that the snow levels were HUGELY below historic levels....

Just take a look now. Historic levels are dotted, current levels are solid

I will upload the image when I get back....but in the meantime take a peek!

Get everything I know from you ;)

My mate went to Zermatt with his missis on 30 Dec, looks like they might have had a poor ending to their week

And Tony H - Think you have misread the forecast. It is not 23 Jan that those conditions start, it is 13 Jan - sorry to wee on your chips

Tbh Andy, I find them much of a muchness. I stumbled across the "Flash Sale" they had in November when they were probably taking a lot of orders for roller blades...I decided that as we had the Snow Dance booked in that I would get the skis knowing that the snow would arrive...

It hasnt stopped arriving since :)

Oooooo I am excited.

weeeeeeee!!!! <<< should that be my strap line?
Any tips for returning skiers...

2 - start slowly, potter around on easy runs on the first day.
3 - make sure the tiddlies are being well looked after! If you are confident they are happy you will enjoy yourselves more
4 - book a private lesson for the six of you for the second day
5 - have a wonderful holiday!

6 - At night, sit down with kids an all and tell all the stories of the day (the more the truth can be stretched the better)

Have a great time, I love skiing in groups rather that just a couple of peeps :)

6.5 working days is a month, correct :D

Maybe I should have been more exact, 6.5 more days IN work. BUT.... 1 hour lunch every day for that time equates to 6.5 hours. Thats another working day lost, so only 5.5 Then I will be on wind down on the day before, so lets call it 4.5

I will get it down to me going tomorrow soon :)
